Participating in the #GiveitUP Campaign by the non-profit organisation I LIVE FOR ME

Alexis Georgoulis participated as the ambassador of the #GiveitUpCampaign, run by the Non-Profit Organisation I LIVE FOR ME, which aims to raise public awareness on the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of cancer. Alexis Georgoulis, alongside Tonia SotiropoulouJenny Botsi and Vicky Stavropoulou, embraced this initiative with great enthusiasm, which took place on World Cancer Day, following the invitation from the Founder of the organisation, Nikos Metaxotos, MD, PhD. The campaign had a duration of 4 months, starting on World Cancer Day (4th February 2016) and ended on World Cancer Survivors Day (5th June 2016) during which various social media campaigns and informative seminars in schools and offices took place.

"Dear Alexis, I would like to thank you sincerely for your support of the Non-Profit Organisation, I LIVE FOR ME, supporting people with cancer and other chronic illnesses. Your involvement is truly valuable to us, not only because it contributes to our initiative of selflessly offering help to our fellow people who need the support, but also because as a personality with the ability to influence, you have contributed to the global awareness of our campaign in order to achieve our goal of raising awareness on the critical issue of cancer prevention.”
